StreetView Oxford

StreetView Oxford

Hertford College, Catte Street, Oxford ,
At Enactus Oxford we believe in making a sustainable, positive impact on our community through innovative social entrepreneurship. StreetView Oxford is an excellent reflection of our ideas and our passion. Oxford has one of the highest rates of homelessness in the UK, even though it is also one of its richest cities. At the same time it is one of the most popular tourist destinations, attracting over 9 million visitors a year. Yet there are no tour services which show visitors what it is like to live in the magnificent city. StreetView Oxford benefits many stakeholders in the community while presenting a unique tour experience of Oxford. We train homeless residents to become tour guides and tell their own tales of the city, adding a personal touch to your time in Oxford. At the same time they gain confidence and skills by conducting tours and start on the path back to self-sufficiency by earning a basic wage. We hope you see the meaning of our social enterprise and the value of seeing Oxford from the StreetView. Please email us to get in touch and book a tour!
