Maybe so, however, without completing the training you as HGV and PCV licence holders will lose your entitlement to drive. It is therefore recommended that as professional drivers you undertake training as soon as is convenient. Here at driver CPC Southwest we want to take the sting out of it by offering a compliant yet affordable solution delivered by like minded individuals with year spent behind the wheel themselves. • No writing is required -No multiple choice - No exams - No hidden tests - No hidden agendas No PASS or FAIL - All we ask is that: • You attend - You Listen - You watch a few DVD’s - Make notes if you wish • Ask questions if you have any - You give 7 hours out of your year • We have tea and coffee; we relax and get the job done. • This is not much to ask to make sure you and your employer are within the law. If you do not attend you will not be able to drive, it is as simple as that. • Don’t give your job away.....! Our courses are delivered by our seasoned driver and training expert Shaun Morgan. Shaun is an accredited JAUPT Trainer. Each session will count 7 hours towards the required total of 35 hours. It is possible to split each course into two 3.5 hour sections run over 2 consecutive days and we have many other options to fiy around not only your work but also your life. We start at 9am and registration is from 8.30am. There are several breaks for tea and coffee provided by us during the day. Additional refreshments and food can either be brought with you or purchased from our onsite shop which has a selection of pasties, snacks and sandwiches etc. If these arrangements are not convenient, we will come to you, this is never a problem. We can also arrange transport to and from our training facility for numbers of 5 or more ... the options are endless so simply let Shaun know what you need Attendees must bring their photo style driving licence and paper counterpart. If you do not have a photo card driving licence, you must bring your passport and paper licence. Without these you will not be able to attend the course. On completion of the course a certificate of attendance will be issued to all delegates. Additionally, delegates’ details will be recorded on the Driving Standards Agency database, as required by legislation governing the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence. Standard costing per person for courses held at out training facility in Winkleigh £55.00 + VAT per person for each 7hr Course, plus £8.75 per person to register with the DSA, This is charged by the Government.
