Albrighton Garden Centre
Situated between Cosford and Albrighton, Albrighton Garden Centre began life in 1960 as a rose nursery owned by Mike and Pat Edwards. Starting the business with a rented 2.5 acre plot and 15,000 lovingly nurtured rose plants, the Edwards scraped a living, supplemented with landscaping work and the odd labour job which finally afforded them a telephone in their wooden shed of an office!
Over the years the range of growing stock expanded dramatically and the tiny nursery developed into the highly successful centre of today. Mike's legacy in terms of dedication to excellence and customer service lives on and the centre is renowned for its top quality plants, as well as its friendly and knowledgeable staff. Loyal and committed (one member of staff has been at the centre for more than 29 years!), they are horticultural experts who like nothing more than to share their knowledge with expert and amateur gardeners alike.
Whilst plants and gardening products form the core of the business, the centre also stocks a great range of garden furniture, giftware and cards, and the ever-popular restaurant serves a delicious selection of home-made snacks and lunches.
