Bath SU Sport
Most students will become involved with some aspect of student sport during their academic career in some way or another. It is a great means by which to keep active and healthy, to learn key developmental skills through managing a team or a club, and to make friends that could last a life time.
SU Sport is the branch of the Students' Union that co-ordinates all aspects of student sport. On offer are 48 different sports clubs for you to join with over 4,000 members; ranging from American Football to Water Polo (www.bathstudent.com/sport/clubs). As well as this, we provide a variety of intramural, recreational and social sporting opportunities for you to get involved with during your time at The University.
Throughout the year, we also host a number of sporting events, such as The Snowball, Varsity series and The Blue Awards. There are plenty of opportunities to also partake in community volunteering projects or to gain sporting qualifications while you are here too.
Everything we do is student centred and student led, with a democratically elected Sport Officer leading the area each year. They are supported by a team of dedicated students on the Sports Exec, as well as the 48 student-led Club Committees whose task is to run their individual clubs.
There is pretty much something for everyone here at SU Sport though so make sure you get involved!
