Rebound is part of registered charity Bootstrap Enterprises and is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4.45pm. The Coffee Shop is open 10am-4.30pm. Rebound sells second hand books, Fair Trade and locally made crafts, and our coffee shop serves a selection of beverages and light snacks. The shop’'s main purpose is to train unemployed local people to work in retail and customer service professions, and assist them to find paid employment. The shop is staffed by voluntary trainees and staff trainers. Trainees are supported to gain confidence as well as develop work skills. We are able to operate thanks to the generous donations of books from households across East Lancashire. Bootstrap Enterprises is a registered charity and for almost 25 years has been delivering highly effective social inclusion programmes and projects across Pennine Lancashire. We provide flexible and innovative services for customers of Job Centre Plus and users of social care; we reach out into communities to engage with those facing the most significant barriers to jobs and skills; and we work in partnership with organisations ranging from national prime providers to the local third sector community.
