The Club
The aim of the club is to create a safe, friendly, family friendly environment.
After experiencing some financial difficulties the old Dagenham Working Men’s Club was taken over by two investors in January 2012. The intent of the new owners is to recreate the highly successful club of the yesteryear and ensure its future for the local community. The refurbishments have just about been completed in July and the place is looking fantastic. Improvements have been made to the air conditioning, toilets, bar and all of the general décor. The front of the club has undergone a radical modernisation. The aim is to create a family friendly facility that will cater for the many diverse needs of the local community.
☆☆ Children are welcome but members bringing them into the club will be held responsible. Children *MUST* stay with their parents at all times. ☆☆
We can cater for private parties, birthdays, celebrations, funerals, any type of event just ask. The function room is in the process of refurbishment and will look great, do speak to us should you wish to make a booking.
DWMC 2 is in the process of transforming the old club with the replacement of the bar to its original position; the creation of catering facilities and the total modernisation of the toilets.
DWMC 2 aims to run quality sports facilities to include darts, dominoes and pool. It will encourage and support racing, poker, fishing and football clubs.
DWMC 2 will hold themed nights including Bingo, tribute artists and DJ sessions. We will endeavour to encourage family participation by providing - variety, a safe environment and inexpensive entertainment.
