Walkies while you work and pets cared for in the comfort of their own home, maintaining their usual daily routine. I am fully insured with Cliverton for dog walking and pet sitting. I also have a police check through Disclosure Scotland, for added peace of mind. It is standard procedure to meet new owners and pets before undertaking any dog walking or pet sitting. After all, who would you rather entrust your pet with, someone you have spoken to over the phone or by email, or somebody you have met face to face and seen for yourself how pet interaction goes? It is important to get to know you and your pet, especially in the beginning. I come to you, you can tell me all about your day to day routines for feeding and exercising to allow me to replicate this. We'll chat about likes, dislikes and any healthcare requirements, favourite toys, and which vet you use. Pets come in all shapes and sizes, they can sleep in the bedroom, scratch your wallpaper or hide your socks, as long as they are friendly, we will get along just fine. Any transporting of dogs is done safely and securely in my own car. My car has been fitted with a dog guard, non-slip waterproof seat covers and dog seat belt clips to ensure maximum comfort and safety. Older dogs are walked at a relaxed, slow pace without steep hills, with plenty of rest stops and without a lot of puppies running around. Quiet, off the beaten track walks are ideal for dogs who dislike loud noises or crowds. Younger, and more active dogs who require more exercise, enjoy our beach and forest walks. Whether its a dog walk or a pet sit, I send a summary of my time with your pet, usually by text message or email. I send pictures for added reassurance the pets are having a good time. I am here to meet you and your pets individual needs, an alternative to kennels, catterys and in some cases, people not taking holidays for years at a time. I look forward to meeting with you and your pets Carol
