Official University of West London Photography Department
We are the Photography department at The University of West London and we offer dynamic and exciting courses, which equip you with strong practical and professional skills. Our courses are broad based and, whilst focusing on contemporary photographic practice, offer opportunities for experimentation with related subject areas such as moving image and digital technologies. Through cultural and theoretical studies we also teach skills that give you the confidence to engage effectively within photographic debate.
We also provide the opportunity for work experience, equipping our students for employment is one of the key elements of this department.
We have a strong team of established professional photographers, artists and curators, bringing a wealth of experience to our students. Recent graduates have been successful in fashion, editorial, commercial and curatorial practice.
