St Mary’s is in the Diocese of St Albans of the Church of England, and was the first Christian Church to be recorded in Barnet, dating back to at least 1080AD. Since then the dedication of the church has been to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus. Today we are committed to being an inclusive Christian community, as a clear expression of breadth of the worldwide Anglican tradition.
