Glenesk School
Glenesk is a unique Pre-Preparatory School preparing children for entry to all Surrey Preparatory Schools. We have a fine record of academic success with a curriculum covering both the Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1 with the addition of a full Creative Arts programme, as well as Early Morning and After School Clubs. We are delighted to have been offered a place on the 'Outstanding' providers list by Ofsted.
The early years of life are so important and at Glenesk we aim to create a secure, stimulating and happy environment in which young people can thrive. Our qualified and experienced staff in the nursery ensure that our two year olds are gently introduced to school life with Dance, Music and Drama being included in their weekly timetable.
In Kindergarten (3-4 years) we follow the Foundation Stage Curriculum with the addition of French. Once in full time school pupils benefit from an extensive Sports programme including football, netball, gymnastics and swimming in our indoor heated pool.
All core curriculum subjects are taught to a high standard and the eldest Year Two children are prepared for entrance tests for their future schools at the end of Key Stage 1.
We offer an early morning club, Early Birds, and a range of after school activities including Dance, Crafts, Gardening, Swimming and Saturday Splash.
