Linda Fabiani MSP for East Kilbride
It has been a privilege to serve since I was first elected to the Scottish Parliament in 1999. In those years I have been lucky to work alongside every section of the community in East Kilbride – local businesses, voluntary organisations, community groups, schools, the college, and individuals – to support, promote and benefit the town. I have campaigned alongside local people to protect local services and amenities.
East Kilbride has benefited from the achievements of the SNP Scottish Government, from the Council Tax freeze to free prescriptions, from the abolition of tuition fees to lower NHS waiting times, from protecting and extending concessionary fares to extra police on our streets.
As your MSP, I will continue to be a campaigning MSP, standing up for East Kilbride and backing policies which will make things better for the town and its people. Together we can, and we will, make Scotland better.
