The O'Shea Gallery

Unit 9, Breezehurst Farm, Crouch House Road, Edenbridge ,
The O’Shea Gallery was opened by Raymond O’Shea in 1975, for many years specializing in antiquarian prints and maps. Over the years The O’Shea Gallery could be found in some of London’s prime locations with the first gallery on Ellis Street in Belgravia, after which it was moved to Lower Sloane Street in Chelsea. The third gallery was on Mount Street in Mayfair and most recently The O’Shea Gallery could be found at No.4 St.James’s Street, St.James’s. Each gallery hosting a range of well-remembered exhibitions ranging from ‘Cartographic Curiosities’ to ‘Eat, drink, laugh and grow fat’. In 1995 Raymond O’Shea sought out new work to compliment his collections and in so doing was appointed agent for Annie Tempest's Tottering-by-Gently originals and publisher of her books. Tottering-by-Gently is now an internationally acclaimed cartoon strip, featuring weekly in Country Life Magazine. In April 2013 the lease on the St.James's gallery expired, Raymond O'Shea decided to take the 'Tottering's on tour' and will pop up with O'Shea Gallery exhibitions in and around London.
