Our handmade burger patties are made daily in our kitchen. We use fresh steak mince from local butcher (Watson, Neal & Sons) blended with a mix of herbs and spices that give our burgers such great unique flavour. Our coffee is important to us, because we understand that it is important to you. Every single aspect of what ends up in your hands is controlled and cared for with love and respect. As with every aspect of Googies, freshness is paramount to us. Our beans are supplied by Alchemy coffee, who are a small Artisan Roaster, who pride themselves on quality, not quantity. Our beans are roasted as soon as the order is placed and delivered the following day. It’s not just our roasters who know what they are doing. Our Barista’s know when the coffee is at its best, we will never serve you a cup outside our strict boundaries. From espresso to lattes and ristrettos to flat whites, let us make the perfect cup for you!

Blooms is a contemporary, modern restaurant with a theatre style kitchen serving good quality Italian/Mediterranean food. All of our dishes are freshly prepared on site and range from locally sourced fish, grilled meats and salads to hand stretched pizzas, pastas, risottos and freshly baked home-made breads. As well as the restaurant we also have a bar area to relax in, whether you’re waiting for your table or simply popping in for a coffee or cocktail with a friend. Our front of house staff aim to deliver a fast, friendly and professional standard of service throughout your visit and our team of chefs will deliver delicious dishes. Owner Phil Godden is local to Folkestone and grew up around the harbour area. He and his team have over 30 years of combined experience in the industry. James Pearce, the head chef, has a particular love for Italian food and has worked in various restaurants in London and the South East and hopes to bring a touch of the Mediterranean to Folkestone. Andrew Wintie will be fronting the team at Blooms. His enthusiasm; passion for customer service, food and drinks mixology is second to none. The menu will comprise of appetisers ranging from marinated olives to seaside bites with starter courses such as grilled sardines and risotto rice balls. For main courses there will be choices such as fritto chicken, pressed pork belly, creamy garlic mussels, creamy gorgonzola rigatoni, avocado and pancetta salad. We will also have lunch and evening daily specials as well as fresh home-made desserts for you to choose from. The cocktails at Blooms bring together fresh ingredients and exotic flavours to create top quality drinks that will seduce all palettes. Freshly made to order, each cocktail is skilfully crafted by our team. We will always aim to utilize the services of our local suppliers wherever possible, not only for our food but also for our drinks and even our uniforms and décor. We look forward to seeing you.
