Harpenden Quaker Meeting is a constituent meeting of Luton and Leighton Area Meeting and of Britain Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends. Meetings for Worship are held on Sundays at 11am and on Thursdays at 10.45am.

Fast growing Bethany Community Church is changing its venue for Sunday meetings to St Georges School, Harpenden on October 14th. A steady increase in the number of teenagers and young families attending the church has necessitated a move to bigger premises as Neil Chitty, Senior Elder at BCC, explains: “Bethany’s commitment to making people of all ages welcome, whatever their nationality, culture or background, has attracted a lot of new members; so we’ve outgrown the Chapel at Highfield Oval. We’re so grateful to YWAM for the many years we’ve been able to worship in such a beautiful setting. However, the Assembly Hall at St Georges offers a range of excellent facilities that will help to ensure our Sunday meetings remain a comfortable, as well as inspiring experience! Our door is open to everyone, be they committed Christians or undecided seekers who just want to check God out.”
