Set within its own grounds, Hunter Crook boasts beautiful picturesque views of the Tyne Valley. Huntercrook Lodge is situated in the heart of Hadrian's Wall, on the edge of the National Park. We are located north of the village Bardon Mill adjacent to Henshaw, just off the A69. The Roman fort of Vindolanda, together with all major heritage attractions, including Housesteads and Birdoswald. In addition, we are ideally situated for walking the Hadrian's Wall National Trail, or riding Hadrian's cycle way. Our lodge is available for rental for 1 week August 10th - 17th in 2013. Accommodation comprises: Kitchen/Dining Room appointed to a very high standard with everything you could possibly need. 3 large bedrooms, 2 of which can be configured either as doubles or twins. Master + 1 other bedroom have luxury ensuite shower rooms (linen & towels included). Main bathroom has Jacuzzi bath and Sauna. Split level lounge with fantastic floor to ceiling windows with access onto Balcony. Luxury fitments include Bang & Olufsen TV/DVD/Radio. The lodge comes complete with own golf buggy and guests can utilise the spa, pool and gym within Slaley Hall. Slaley Hall has 2 fantastic golf courses, a spa with kids pool; and a separate outdoor pursuits centre offering activities such as quad biking, Segways, Clay Pigeon shooting. When using the lodge you can also access a variety of discounts on facilities at Slaley including 50% off all golf and 20% of all food & drink. We visit twice a year and love the place! Ideally located for a vast selection of activities in the North East come rain or shine. We have put together this site not only to rent out the week that we are unable to use, but to encourage other visitors to log their visits in the form of an online guest book.
