Foxy Cakes & Bakes
My name is Susan and I love baking. It all started when I was taught to bake by my beloved Mum as a very young child. I think that nothing beats the aroma of home baking around a family home and the anticipation of taking that first bite to find out whether the taste is as good as the smell.
I'm married to Nick and we have a son, Patrick, who also enjoys helping around the kitchen, particularly with the breadmaking. They don't seem to mind being my guinea pigs (particularly when it's anything chocolatey when it comes to Patrick)!.
My albums contain just a crumb of the cakes and bakes which I make, so I'm always open to specific ideas and requests.
All cakes come boxed and cake pops can be wrapped in cellophane with ribbons if desired.
I use only the finest ingredients, all eggs are grade A and I am registered with East Lindsey District Council as a food business. I try to use minimal food colourings in my baking and those which I do use are usually from a natural source. I, therefore, tend to decorate cupcakes with buttercream or similar frosting in order to avoid the vibrant colourings included in roll out icing (also buttercreams and frostings taste yummier!).
All items are for collection from my home bakery in Horncastle.

Basic cupcakes (eg. chocolate swirls, rose design frosting):
Box of 4 cakes = £4.00
Box of 6 cakes = £6.00
More intricate designs and larger cupcakes (eg. Black Forest, Lemon Meringue):
Box of 4 cakes = £5.00
Box of 6 cakes = £7.50
*Minimum order = 4 cupcakes
If you require presentation box, complete with ribbons, there is an additional charge, according to the design of box.

Cake pops are usually 50p each, minimum order of 6 cake pops.
Please note that I bake because I love baking and not because I am a business person, therefore, you may find my prices to be less than others may charge.
