The Bear Hotel Hungerford
The Bear Hotel is one of the most Historic Hotels in England, dating back to the early 13th Century. It has been owned by King Henry Viii (and several of his wives) and visited b Queen Elizabeth I. It is also where the future William III met the commissioners of James II in his bedchamber to receive the English Crown.
Situated In the beautiful Market town of Hungerford, In the Heart of the North Wessex Downs we are in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Newbury Racecourse, West Berkshire Golf Course and a huge range of National Trust and English Heritage sites are close by, not to mention the Living Rainforest in Newbury and close enough to Thruxton Motorsport centre for amazing driving experiences.
