We carry out a comprehensive assessment to target problem areas and then use specific treatment techniques aimed at primarily reducing your pain and then preventing it returning.
Treatments Include:
Joint Mobilisation / Manipulation - which is used to restore normal joint movements and reduce pain
Acupuncture - Increases the circulation around a damaged tissue which will speed up healing. Trigger point acupuncture releases tight muscles. Reduces nerve pain.
Exercise - used to strengthen healing tissues, improve posture, improve control
Ultrasound - sound waves are used to speed up tissue healing
Traction - Improves circulation to nerves to help them heal
Vestibular Rehabilitation - with certain types of dizziness, very disabling symptoms can be resolved in one session
Neural Dynamic Exercises - nerves are often very slow to heal, specific exercises can help to increase circulation and promote healing
Soft Tissue Release / Massage - relieves tight sore muscles

Tim McPhee
Tim graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2003, he then began his career working for University Hospital Aintree as a Junior Physiotherapist. Tim moved to work for Knowsley PCT as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in 2005. In his NHS role Tim has worked in the Accident and Emergency department at Whiston Hospital assessing and treating injuries at their most acute. Tim gained experience working in the private sector for Joints and Points healthcare. Tim has furthered interests with post graduate training in the knee joint, ankle joint, shoulder joint, neural dynamics, combined movements, vestibular assessment and treatment, and muscle imbalance. Tim is currently studying for his masters degree at Manchester Metropolitan University. Tim has recently completed a masters module in Acupuncture
Steven Addingadoo
Steven graduated from Keele University in 2008, since then he has worked for 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust as a Junior Physiotherapist and now currently works as a Senior Physiotherapist for Merseycare NHS. Steven has extensive experience in musculoskeletal conditions. He has also completed post graduate qualifications in acupuncture.
