At EDGY CITY ECO TOURS our goal is to fascinate and excite you by introducing you to parts of the city that other tours do not reach and that you might not otherwise see or find out about!
So forget about sightseeing on the normal ‘tourist trail’ from behind the window of a bus. We will show you the main tourist sights of Liverpool BUT we will also take you off the beaten track where there is so much more to find!
Coming on an EDGY CITY ECO TOUR will enable you to feel, smell and touch the pulse of THE REAL LIVERPOOL in the only way you can - on foot or bike. And whilst we are at it we will tell you all about THE REAL LIVERPOOL as well as its people and their history: There is far more to Liverpool than bus tours can show you and far more to the city than the picture postcards show. So on an EDGY CITY ECO TOUR you will get a proper and authentic experience and understanding of a city, and its people, that are like nowhere else in the world.
A key aim of EDGY CITY ECO TOURS is to draw your attention to parts of the city that might otherwise remian hidden and, in doing so, bring the benefits of tourism to independent shops, cafes, restaurants, theeatres, exhibition spaces and bars that are off the tourist trail and that tourists might otherwise not find out about. This ensures that the benefits of tourism spread far beyond the big chain businesses that have the advertising clout to attract the attention of tourists.
Another key aim of EDGY CITY ECO TOURS is to make our city tours available to EVERYONE, REGARDLESS OF ABILITY TO PAY. There are NO TICKETS and NO RIP OFF PRICES at EDGY CITY ECO TOURS. We are the only tour company in Liverpool that provide FREE scheduled walking tours (every Tuesday and Thursday / Fridays) and private tours based solely on WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO PAY.
EDGY CITY WALKING TOURS provide FREE walking tours every Tuesday and on alternate Thursday or Friday evenings starting at 5pm. These tours typically last for 2 - 2.5 hours. Please contact CHRIS on 07585905204 for details of departure locations.
EDGY CITY WALKING TOURS also provide PRIVATE walking tours of Liverpool for groups of between 2 and 25 people. Please contact CHRIS on 07585905204 to arrange your own private tour. There are NO PRICES for private tours. We only ask that you pay what members of your group can afford but no more than £5 per head. Larger groups - of 15 people or more - should pay no more than £3 per head.
EDGY CITY RUNNING TOURS and EDGY CITY CYCLING TOURS are provided on request and at a time that is convenient to you. These tours typically last for between 2 to 4 and a half hours and allow us to take you to a range of fascinating places outside of the city centre, such as The Beatles childhood homes.
