During the 2012 Olympic Games, Holy Trinity Church Jesmond was transformed into a vibrant and welcoming community café: serving great coffee, tea and fairtrade snacks ; a toddler play area and a programme for people of all ages. Well we’re back for 2013 with a twist! We’ve been opening the café space and the toddler play area but adding in a new feature: Messy Church. On each occasion there's eight themed activity tables full of crafts and games for children and parents to do together. There's also an optional all together time: 15 minutes of story telling and singing. So you can simply come and use the café and soak up the atmosphere or read a paper, or bring the kids – there's loads for them to do. The choice is yours.
