Cranleigh Ladies Hockey Club

Cranleigh Ladies Hockey Club (CLHC) was started in 1976 and over the years has developed considerably, but the goal of the club has remained – to encourage all those who want to play hockey to come along and join in. We run two ladies teams, who both play competitively in the Surrey Ladies Hockey League. Home matches are played on the all-weather pitch at Cranleigh School, and training sessions take place every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm also at Cranleigh School. We welcome new players to the club, whether you are wanting to start playing hockey, return to the game, or are new to the area, we have opportunities for all. A number of our ladies also play mixed hockey with the Cranleigh Coqs. This team was designed for social, fun hockey, and fixtures are arranged against other local mixed teams. So if you or your other half have always wanted to play mixed hockey, now could be the time to start.

Eastleigh Karate Club

Eastleigh Karate Club

Fleming Park, Passfield Avenue, Eastleigh ,
Our head Sensei Nigel Hosking has known and trained with Sensei O'Donnell and SEKU in the South of England for many years, as has Sensei Ronnie Noades. Several years ago Nigel moved to the North of England through work and while living there continued to train regularly. During this time a trip to Japan to train at the JKA headquarters in Tokyo. Nigel recently returned to live in the South where he resumed his training under Sensei O'Donnell's Dojo in Portchester, but was also looking for a nearby Dojo to train at, in his local area of Eastleigh. He found a floundering Eastleigh KUGB Dojo based at Fleming Park Leisure Centre. Coincidentally (or was it destiny ?) Fleming Park is where Nigel used to train many years ago as a young Karateka and the KUGB Dojo he found there happened to be looking for a new Sensei, to take over it's running. Nigel gladly took on that role, at the same time bringing the club into the SEKU organisation and under the guidance of the nearby Portchester Dojo for help and advice
