‘Dunamis’ is situated at 22 Fore Street {bottom Street} - One of the oldest buildings in Liskeard {1686}, the shop has recently undertaken a sensitive facelift in keeping with it’s age using sustainable Oak & Mahogany for the counter & shelving. Now trading as a Christian resource & gift shop with a heart for evangelism & missions - ‘Dunamis’ is non-denominational & serves to bear witness to Christ on the high street in Liskeard {literally putting the cross back on the high street}. Stocking a wide selection of inspirational books for all ages as well as Christian teaching DVD’s, Audio Books, Christian Music CD’s {probably the widest selection in Cornwall - Over 800 different titles}, Christian Music DVD’s, Christian films & Christian animated DVD’s for the children. There is an extensive range of Christian Cards with bible texts for all occasions including ranges of beautiful handmade & Fairtrade cards. We Also carry a good stock of Fairtrade gift items most of which is from Tearfund/Created which provides support for Christian initiatives in many countries. There is also a wide selection of Christian gifts for all ages. We provide an ordering service for resources & daily readings. There is an ever expanding pre-owned selection of Christian CD’s & Records. We now also have a large selection of preowned books for sale in 'The Upper Room' Opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday 09.30 - 14.30 {Closed Monday} Mission Statement 'Dunamis' seeks to serve all the people of Liskeard & it's surrounding areas, regardless of denomintion or affiliation & seeks to provide a full range of resources across the Christian spectrum. We also seek fellowship with the general public who do not have a faith in Christ & through the fair trade products, there is plenty of opportunity to engage & share We welcome {& pray daily for more} the many 'seekers' who come in just to talk, with whom we can engage and share the Gospel and offer practical & prayerful support.
