By deciding to choose Robert Bakwell Hall as your place to live on campus this year, you have definitely made the best choice. Not only is this hall the best self catered hall, we have an amazing social atmosphere and house some of the most influential and entertaining students on campus!
Even though we are a fairly new hall, we have certainly enforced our presence in the University by topping a lot of the league tables, not only in sport - but in Media, Action (Volunteering), RAG (Charity), and many more.
Our socials are second to none and we can guarantee you that you will have the time of your life living here with us, an experience that you will receive nowhere else; catering for all kinds of people - party animals and the more quiet types!
The committee which have been elected this year are the most down to earth, and professional on campus. We will look after you during your time here, and can help you out getting your foot through the door in whatever you are interested in.
Choosing Robert Bakewell will be the best decision you have ever made, it was for me and many people feel the same, the hall this year has been massively oversubscribed for returning students as everyone has had the time of their lives and definitely do not want to miss out on another massive year!
Freshers "week" is going to be absolutely unbelieveable, we have a stupidly good lineup for you guys and were hoping to improve on the 2010 freshers which itself cannot be put into words. Events will be running day and night for an entire TWO WEEKS, socials will be very regular and you will meet a huge amount of people in this time, who you will get to know and love for years to come.
