Membership varies between 150-200 which allows us to offer a full range of team and social tennis with 16 hours of coaching a week. One of the cheapest clubs in Kirklees we have the use of SIX courts in a beautiful parkland setting - Mirfield Memorial Park, just off Huddersfield Road on the Dewsbury side of the the town centre. We have all-year-round play on 3 all-weather painted porous tarmac courts plus 3 shale courts (May to October) Low-cost membership: Family memberships start at £80 for two (then £5 for each further child under 18); individual membership is £60; intermediate (16 years & 17) £30; junior £20. Fully affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association Newly-refitted clubhouse with separate changing rooms and showers, toilets, kitchen and background heating. Five men's teams: Huddersfield League (Div 2 & Div 3 & Div 6) Calderdale League (Div 4) Bradford League (Div 3) Two ladies' teams (Calderdale League Div 1 & 3) Two mixed teams (Wakefield League). Junior team in the Huddersfield League, boys though girls are allowed to play Fully qualified LTA coaching 16 hours of squad coaching sessions for juniors and adults every week (see website) Coaching visits to schools and holiday coaching camps for juniors Insurance cover Access to the Wimbledon ticket draw Match balls recycled free to members Supported by Kirklees Council, Mirfield Town Council, and the Sports Council.

In an age of ever greater ecumenical cooperation this international conference will consider some of the resources that our different traditions have to offer to people in Christian ministry. It is especially designed for people who have recently begun a public ministry, lay or ordained, and for students preparing for ministry. Organised by the Anglican-Lutheran Society, it will welcome participants from all Christian traditions.
