Anne likes to follow current fashion trends and uses this knowledge of what’s hot and current in giving her make up a modern day twist, and this is more than evident in her charity calendar ‘Fashion Through The Ages’. Having worked on Liverpool Fashion week in 2012, heading up her own team she has now been privileged with the opportunity of heading up the makeup team for Liverpool Fashion week 2013. Anne also writes regularly for Lifestyle Monthly Magazine as beauty editor, focusing on trends and looks along with showcasing products. Anne has been a brand ambassador for Artdeco Couture Make Up since 2008; continually using and showcasing, as well as representing the brand at some events. In addition to this, Anne has recently joined Tara Wells’ brand, Ilah which endorses semi-permanent eyebrow mineral powders as part of their mobile events team. As a huge vintage fan, Anne is on a mission and continually striving to bring ‘Real Glamour for Real Women’ back. Think the Hollywood Golden era, showcasing a woman’s natural beauty and to quote Anne: ‘A woman needs to be herself, but a more polished version’ and this is now being demonstrated through her charity calendar ‘Fashion Through The Ages’, showcasing fashion and makeup from 1920’s to millennium with a modern day twist. This is all in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Anne has recently won The Wedding Industries Experts Awards for Best Make Up Artist for Deeside and Wales for the second year running. Anne is currently having editorials printed, based on how to create certain looks, and has also proved successful in her campaign to bring her brain child ‘Dress For Success Campaign’ in local schools showing young adults how to dress the correct way with makeup and style for interviews and occasions when starting off within their career choice. As well as providing make up lessons via one-to-one or on Skype, Anne is also an avid social media fan; using her Twitter trend #getyourfaceon which she uses to communicate and keep followers up to date with any products she is road testing, reviewing or using on a shoot or event or even using on herself. Anne also has her own blog www.anniegetyourblush.co.uk using this form of media to communicate anything from brand and product reviews, fashion trends and anything that encapsulates her passion: ‘Real Glamour for Real Women’. Anne is now embarking on a teaching route, allowing her creative skills and her passion for true glamour and desire to succeed to educate and inspire the next generation of makeup artists , whatever route they want to undertake. Stay Beautiful, Anne x
