The Pub can pride itself on having of one of the biggest and best beer gardens in Morecambe, which is fully enclosed and can only be accessed through the pub itself, therefore allowing families peace of mind to enjoy a sunny day, knowing that their children are safe. A friendly pub in the heart of Bare within walking distance of the Morecambe sea front. The pub offers an excellent choice of beers, cask ales, wines and spirits and also a choice of coffee and teas.

Born in 1926, Eric Bartholomew adopted the name of his native town and enjoyed a highly successful career as one half of the Morecambe and Wise double-act. Just around the corner from this pub is the statue of Eric Morecambe, set against the backdrop of Morecambe Bay. Appropriately, the statue shows him in a one-legged pose, and has become one of Morecambe's favourite attractions. Visitors pose alongside 'Eric' for photos, and delight in the lyrics from his best-known song, Bring Me Sunshine, which are carved into the granite steps leading up to his statue.

Newly refurbished Royal Bar and Hotel. We are a family owned and run seafront hotel and bar overlooking the gorgeous Morecambe Bay. We have 7 recently refurbished rooms on site and a further 5 rooms just 200 yards away. All are en-suite and many have sea views. Free Wifi is also available. The Royal Bar itself is warm and welcoming with a extensive choice of wines, cask ales, lagers and keg beers. At the Royal we take food very seriously, we serve a wide range of freshly prepared, locally sourced food. All food is cooked to order using the very best ingredients. Where ever possible we use local suppliers to not only help the local economy but also to reduce our carbon foot print. We have 2 special nights every week. On Thursdays you can get a Steak and a drink for £8.95 or if Italian is your thing, on Tuesdays you can get Pizza or Pasta and a drink for £6.95. We also run 3 permanent offers where for just £5.95 you can get a Homemade Burger or a Homemade Pizza or a Curry plus a drink. All three available every day.
