About Us -
Lofthouse & Co are an established practice with over 25 years experience in the
industry. We are based in Pontefract, West Yorkshire but we have clients from a
much wider area. We provide our services to many types of businesses including
start-ups and small to medium sized companies.
With more than 25 years in the industry, we are adept in helping your business
grow and face the challenges your business has as well as developing it into a
successful operation. We pride ourselves in providing a fast, efficient and friendly service.
At Lofthouse & Co, we are totally committed to providing our clients with a
service tailored to their individual needs. We keep track of all the essentials for
you and with our experience over a wide range of businesses and financial
situations we are able to provide advice on how to add value to your personal,
business or family finance.
The practice was established in 1987 by Stephen Lofthouse who had previous
experience in accounting firms. For 15 years Stephen was a financial
and managing director in commercial firms and during this time he was the owner
and publisher of the taxation books `Taxation Simplified` for the self employed
and individual tax payer and `Smiths Taxation` a comprehensive taxation
journal for tax professionals. He has formed strong relationships with existing clients many of whom have been with us since the early years.
Our Staff have the same philosophy as Stephen and have formed similar
relationships with clients having been with the firm themselves for between
10 to 18 years.
Our aim is to provide an efficient, understandable, friendly and cost effective
service for business and personal clients.
