The Ickle Big Cake Company
Our aim is to provide each of our customers delicious, homemade cakes, for any occasion and any size. Be it a wedding, a celebration, a weekend treat or a simple afternoon tea, we can provide you with a wide variety of cakes, pastries, tray bakes, biscuits and breads to suit every taste and budget.
All of our products are freshly baked to order and we use only the very best ingredients (including real butter, NO marg). Where appropriate we use locally sourced produce and organic produce if preferred .
Our wedding and celebration cakes are decorated to a high standard and we work directly with the customer to try and achieve exactly what it is they are looking for to the very best of our ability.
We have a variety of cake flavours and fillings available including the ever poplular vanilla, chocolate, lemon and red velvet.
All our wedding cakes and adult celebration cakes are crumb coated in the finest dark, milk or white belgian chocolate ganache (unless specified otherwise) and children's cakes are crumb coated in a creamy, rich, buttercream (unless otherwise specified). Our cupcakes can be made to any specification in quantities of 4,6,12 or more. Single cupcakes are offered at certain times throughout the year e.g. end of the school year, Christmas etc.
We are fully registered, inspected and insured and hold Level 2 Food Safety certificates as standard.
Our products are available for collection only from the ski slope area of Rossendale. At present we are unable to provide a delivery service but we aim to offer delivery soon. Delivery can be arranged through a third party for weddings and large orders for a surcharge, please ask for a quote when ordering.
Due to time wasters we now require a booking deposit to secure your date of 20% of the total cost for all celebration cakes, payment upon collection unless prior arrangements have be agreed. Wedding cakes and orders over £100 require a booking deposit to secure your date of £50 or 40% whichever is greater, with payment in full required 14 working days prior to delivery/collection.
Deposits are non refundable when bookings have been cancelled within 14 working days of the collection date or no shows, Desposits are taken off the final bill when collected (celebration cakes) or upon payment in full (wedding cakes and orders over £100).
Please note that we are a custom bakery and cake decorating service and therefore we cannot and will not compete with supermarket prices. We aim to offer a value for money, personalised, bespoke service, so please consider this before ordering. With this in mind all our prices are dependant upon our customer's personal requirements but please refer below for a rough starting guide to our prices.
