Popdance is available to people of all ages and abilities - Popdance Active and Able focuses on those that need a little extra care. Active and Able is a fantastic dance class that helps build confidence and social skills whilst learning to dance to all your favourite “Pop” songs. The class will improve mobility, coordination, timing, balance, flexibility and strength when attending regularly. The classes are specially choreographed routines to music that everyone loves with no pressure to get the steps exactly right. The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment. We have some fantastic warm ups to some great tracks, a really fun “descriptive moves” section where the class can dance in groups or in pairs and learn the moves and then we work on a dance routine over 4-5 weeks ensuring everyone has the chance to learn them before changing to a new one. With music ranging from Rihanna to Justin Bieber, Kylie to Lady Gaga and Beyonce to Wham – there is something for everyone. To add, we are lucky to deal with many of the worlds leading manufactures and their parts back up is vital to our ability to service your needs quickly and efficiently. We also believe that the only way to continue our success is to invest in the training of our young staff and this is why we currently have over 12 technicians in apprenticeship schemes. We run classes at Odyssey Health and Fitness Club in Stevenage Herts on Thursday evening at 19:00. We have a competitive team (team SKC) who enter competitions across the UK as well as the world pentathlon league. Classes are FREE for Odyssey Members and £5 for non members.
