Loddon Squash Club
Located in south-east Norfolk, Loddon Squash Club is a hidden gem of a club. Although the facilities are basic, the court plays beautifully and you will even find the original plans for its construction on display in the gallery, which date back to 1929, making it possibly the oldest squash court in the county.
It is one of the friendliest clubs you will come across and new members will be welcomed with open arms. Annual membership fees are £20 for students, £40 for individuals, £60 for families, £15 for those under 16 and with 45 minute court fees of only £3, the club is a great low-cost way of playing squash.
Monday nights are club night which means any member can come along from 7:30pm and play against other members, for free.
The club operates a team that plays in the friendly Waveney League against teams from Beccles, Harleston, Lowestoft and Gunton and is a great introduction to competitive team squash for those that want it.
Coaching is also available from the England Squash qualified coach, Mark Heazle, with further details on the servcies that he offers, such as fees available at www.markheazlesquash.co.uk.
