The Carlton Hotel and Restaurant is a small familyrun hotel situated in the main thoroughfare at Peel Place, High Street, Montrose. The hotel dates back to the late 1700’s, and is in excellent condition throughout. Many of the original features still remain in situ, such as the ornate cornices’ and roses, this also includes the original staircase, the majority of the windows remain in their original cases, including the glass panes!
