We are Newcastle Panto Ltd and we produce the panto every year at The Tyne Theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne. We were founded by local actor, comedian & entertainer, Brendan Healy and pride ourselves on employing North East actors and backstage crew to keep our production truly local. Situated conveniently between Newcastle and Stoke on Trent we are in an ideal location with easy access from all directions. Hartshill has really friendly people and a good atmosphere with great little shops, café’s and pubs dotted along the main road. Now it has its very own Music Shop, Rehearsal and Recording Studio. We wish to create a community hub where people can meet fellow musicians and like minded people for chat over a coffee or coke, we have great plans for the future and will keep you all informed as Artisan develops and expands its resources to cater for the professional needs of the aspiring talents of individuals and bands of Staffordshire. At present we have two great sounding rehearsal rooms that have been kitted out to a very high standard, with PA system as well as Drum Kit and backline Amplification available. The Studio is well on its way to completion and should be finished by mid December, as well as two more Rehearsal / Teaching rooms, We are currently building up a team of professional tutors who will teach on an individual 1 to 1 basis, as well as group sessions which help the students to interact with each other. NOMADS Ltd and Young NOMADS are a registered charity and are the company in residence at the Kings Theatre, Newmarket. Throughout the year, Nomads perform plays, musicals and a traditional pantomime. The theatre is run completely by volunteers and is also booked by local schools, bands and touring companies. It also hosts Easter Workshops and the NMYT Summer School. Nomads is a very active company and is always on the lookout for new, enthusiastic members to take part, whether it be treading the boards, helping out backstage in a technical capacity or front of house.
