Moles Studio has a rich history and has hosted some truly special artists and albums. From Portishead to James, Spiritualized to Biffy Clyro, Moles Studio proves it’s own character across the range of musical styles. Located at the heart of the beautiful Georgian town of Bath, a 56-Channel SSL console stands firm in the middle of the spacious and comfortable control room, surrounded by a range of vintage outboard gear, and facing our (personal favourite) huge ATC SCM300 monitors. Our control is extremely well balanced, making it an excellent room to mix in and downstairs the live rooms provide ample space and choice for a range of recording spaces and our drum room is quickly becoming renowned as one of the best sounding live rooms in the area. We have a range of microphones to suit all needs including an original vintage AKG c12 tube mic, a Neumann M149 (valve), Neumann u87s, AKG d12, AKG c414s, and even a home-made NS10 driver Sub-kick mic, but the list goes on. At Moles Studio we are focused on comfortable, quality and always, fun recording sessions, bringing a homely feel to a professional sound. Please feel free to get in touch.

Here at Sick Ink, we are a newly opened tattoo studio, with a team full of experience, based at 230 High Street, Portobello, Edinburgh.
