We are Scotland's first dedicated do it yourself dog wash In our unique facility we have 7 self contained custom built washbays which include a specialist dog bath, thermostatically controlled trigger shower heads and a large drying area to give total privacy to the client and avoid distractions for the dogs and create a calming homely environment. It' all came around because we are a family of dog lovers and have come across a few problems with keeping our dogs clean and also our houses while washing the dogs. You may ask what is a do it yourself dog wash? Well firstly we are not a groomers !! Our concept is that we provide a homely environment where you can bring your mucky pup and wash them yourself and we clean up the mess left behind leaving all the stress of the clean up after doggy bath time to us we will be able to cater for all shapes and sizes of dogs with specially designed bays and with a range of organic shampoos and conditioners available for purchase or you can bring your own YOU WASH , YOU DRY, WE CLEAN UP THE MESS !!!!!!!!

We are open 7 days a week with no weekend surcharges for registered clients, and conveniently located inside Pets at Home so loads of free parking too! We also provide nurse clinics with our qualified team for nail clipping, behavioural advice, diet and nutrition, dental care, flea and worming, senior pet clinics, PET MOT's and more.

Description FUN, SAFE and HAPPY dog walking service in and around the North and East London area. These include: Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Hampstead, Finsbury Park, Stoke Newington, Highbury, Highgate, Hornsey, Harringay, Clapton, Newington Green. Happy Hounds is a fun and personal dog walking business. I understand that it is so important to be able to trust someone with your dog, the same as if it was your child. I enjoy long, interesting walks both in summer and winter and enjoy meeting new customers and their dogs and endeavour them to be able to trust us to walk their dogs and really care for them individually and treat them as our own. If your dog likes to be on the lead or off the lead, play with their ball, swim, play with other dogs etc…..I can give them what they enjoy ALL the time they are on their walks. I am happy to walk any size or age of dog and if they just want a slow relaxed walk I am happy to do that too. It is really important to me that your dog is happy, especially when they are with me. I always make sure the dogs are having a great time and learn to trust me. Although I now live and work in London, I was brought up in the Cotswold's within a veterinary background and surrounded by countryside and animals!! I can therefore really understand what a dog needs in his or her everyday life and how to get the best out of it. I can take your dog on a hour walk specifically catered to their needs, I never walk more than four dogs at a time and group our dogs up appropriately so they get to walk with similar dogs that they get on with and like. Your dog will travel safely to and from walks, within a car but cages are not supplied. With your permission dogs may be walked off the lead but for the first walk each dog will be walked on an extending lead so that they can get used to walking with me and gain trust. Your dog will be picked up from your home, taken for the walk in the park or in the woods etc... When they have been walked they will be returned to your home, made sure they are clean so they don’t ruin your home, check that they have water and lock them safely back in their beds. Any special extra arrangements can be made if needed. PRICES* Dog walking: 1/2 hour walk: £10 1 hour walk: £15 2nd dog (from same household): additional £5 per hour Pop-in Service: £12 per visit (inc feeding and watering) this service can also inc cats! Dog Sitting : £25 per day, inc walk £35 overnight stay, inc walks Discounts can be given for longer periods of stay Please note: Dog walking times are NOT from the arrival at your house but from when your dog is enjoying his first run in the park or woods. (not all dog walkers do this…but I think it is only fare that your dog gets his full hours hour…otherwise they wont be satisfied!) After a good hours walk I will then return them home safely where after all they playing they will probably be ready for an afternoon snooze! *Prices quoted above are Monday to Friday in daylight hours, excluding bank holidays. Weekends can be covered for regular weekday dogs but only by special arrangement.
