Newquay Fish Festival

Newquay Fish Festival

Newquay Harbour, Newquay ,
The Newquay Fish Festival gives Newquay an opportunity to showcase one of its hidden gems 'the harbour'. Now in its 10th year the Newquay Fish Festival is one of Cornwall's most established food and crafts shows. There's always a special atmosphere at the Newquay Fish Festival, a unique mix of Newquay's vibrant holiday scene and the traditional fishing community of the old Cornish harbour. Together they bring the harbour to life for this three day annual event and provide Newquay with a showcase to be proud of. The practical cookery demonstrations by local chefs are undoubtedly the highlight of the festival, with hotels and restaurants in Newquay being able to promote local fresh fish and shellfish and locally available Cornish produce. The event takes place in September as a follow on to the main holiday period, and has been blessed with marvellous weather every year. This years Festival 2012 is 14th 15th 16th September
