Colne Badminton Club

Colne Badminton Club

Crown Way, Colne ,
Colne Badminton Club is a competitive badminton club whose members play regularly at Pendle Leisure Centre on a Tuesday night. Sessions run from 7pm – 10pm (September through to April.) We compete in the Craven League and have Men’s, Mixed, Ladies and Composite teams. Not interested in playing competitively? Well we have a thriving, friendly club night with players of different ability who all play on a Tuesday night with feather shuttles. We welcome new members to the club who can play for 3 hours, with feather shuttles, for as little as £5 a night. The new season commences on the 3rd September 2013, however there will be a summer club up and running over the next few weeks (check facebook for more information!) Simply contact us through facebook to find out more! If you're 16 or under why not join Colne Junior Badminton Club. They play on Friday evenings (all year round) at Colne Leisure Centre. The sessions between 6.10pm - 7.10pm are for beginners and new starters and 7.10pm - 8.40pm for the advanced group. All sessions are coached by 2nd level coaches. The club has developed some fantastic junior players over the years; they have been given the opportunity to play in regular tournaments, represent their county and play within the senior club teams. For any enquiries and information regarding the Junior Club contact Sharon de Maine at colnebc@gmail.com

Mountains in Mind was born from taking inspiration from war veterans who are achieving amazing things in the face of adversity. We all face challenges on a day to day basis and its our mission at MIM to inspire, encourage and create a supportive environment where we can all achieve amazing things. Through adventure we learn more about yourself in natures classroom. We expand our comfort zone, strip away all the 'stuff' and focus on what truly important. We read recently whilst in Nepal that trekking is a great leveler. We are here to help you to climb your own mountain, whether that's Mount Snowdon, your first rock climb, Kilimanjaro or experiencing life's true adventure in Nepal. To give you encouragement, the tools and inspiration to live your own adventure.
