White Cottage Tea-room opened in January 2010, we started with a few cakes, biscuits and scones and have built ourselves up (and we still are)! Through out the day we serve afternoons teas, with fresh, warm scones, homemade cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, brownies, pavlovas and loads more and from 12-2.30pm we now serve homemade soup and sandwiches. Our italian coffee beans are freshly ground in every coffee, our large selections of twinnings teas are very popular, as well as our milkshakes, homemade lemonade and hot chocolate! The tea-room is based in our cosey barn and on our sheltered patio right next to the Cottage. Viewings of the cottage are available Febuary to October on the last sunday of the month and must be booked through the Stamford Office, Altrincham. At White Cottage we are now providing traditional afternoon teas which you can book in advance. You will be served with a selction of sandwiches, mini scones, mini pavlovas and cupcakes, and as much tea as you desire! Whether you are celebrating with up to 22 people or just a few of you we can decorate a table or the whole tea-room. Call us or pop in for more information and a price list. We hope to see you soon! The fish dishes range from starters, calamari and prawn cocktail, as well as main courses, choosing from fresh Haddock, Pangasius and Cod- all delicate white fish with their own unique taste. On Sundays, we serve our traditional roasts; Roast Ham, Roast Lamb and Roast Beef. The roasts are served with all the trimmings, for a magnificent £10! We also run our usual week menu alongside the roasts, at full price until 4pm when our fabulous offer starts again.
