Inglenook Inns and Taverns and Punch Taverns are committed, not only in terms of financial investment, but also to revitalising this well loved 17th century coaching inn - maintaining all the trappings you'd expect of a country inn - and then some, restoring it to its rightful place as a pivitol part of the community.
our new menu revisits some old traditional favourites and there are some new dishes to tempt you. We like to spend locally, so we buy from suppliers that we know and trust, keeping our food both regional and seasonal; good quality produce speaks for its self! We are using traditional family recipes, passed down through generations for our cakes and afternoon teas - hopefully to tempt your taste buds and tempt our Ashbourne ladies to indulge themselves - just a little! We know you love cask ales - we will have a selection to tempt our Ashbourne men - and hopefully the girls too! Our Sunday roasts are legendary and why not add a glass of fizz to your 'fish on Friday' - our spectacular 'catch of the day' .
