Tae Kwon-Do is the Korean martial art of self-defence and is used by the Korean military. 'Tae' means 'jump, kick or smash with the foot', 'Kwon' means 'fist or punch, to destroy with the hand', 'DO' means 'art, way or method.'
Tae Kwon-Do is an exciting combat sport in which skills are tested in a rigorously controlled competition environment, wearing safety equipment. It is a healthy, fitness-promoting activity for people of all ages encouraging both self-respect and self-discipline. Classes help promote balance & co-ordination, flexibility, championship sparring, traditional martial art techniques, self-defence and much more... Do not worry about your level of fitness as we can slowly build your level safely.
