The club was founded in 1964 by Brian Crew who started teaching boys the 'noble art' at a small hall in Middleton near Bognor Regis. Brian taught Dave Larner the skills that helped him become Southern Area Champion in 1969 & 1970.
Dave Larner is still a coach with the club today. he is also a qualified judge for the ABAE. His experience is priceless to us.
