ABOUT: BRTTC Is about making table tennis accessible to as many people as possible. Our object is the promotion of community participation in a healthy activity through provision of facilities for playing table tennis. BRTTC currently trains twice a week at its four-table Westloats Lane premises, with sessions for Juniors and Seniors. The club offers a very friendly welcome to new members. In May 2010, BRTTC received a Grassroots Grant from Sussex Community Foundation and in November 2010 received Arun Grant Aid from Arun District Council and purchased all the necessary equipment to establish the club. Through sponsorship from Waterside Accident Repair Centre in Bognor Regis, the club fields a team in Division Three South of the Men’s British League. The club motto is to 'help anyone who wants to get involved in table tennis' You don't have to be a top class player to join BRTTC - come along and enjoy yourself playing at your own level. If you want to improve there are plenty of people willing to help you. You don't have to play league table tennis to join BRTTC - come along on a social basis and enjoy yourself. Many of our members that started on this basis have actually asked later to play in the league! You don't have to spend a fortune to join BRTTC For those wishing to attend there is a sessional rate. Currently this is £2.50 for Adults and £1.50 for Juniors. First session is always FREE. If you enjoy table tennis BRTTC is the place for you, because we play to enjoy the sport. We've all seen him. The Bognor Keeper of the Lights works tirelessly day in day out to ensure that the lights are red. Then green. Then red. Then green again. With his mystical gaze and intense concentration he effortlessly presses the button. Green. Then red. Now green. The Keeper first came to public attention during the Pink Pub traffic lights of 2010, and can now been seen up the road a bit - you know, by that bloody speed camera. Let's all drink a toast and salute to the legend of the lights, and hope that he is always there to save us from any potential head on collisions.
