COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE NORTHWEST represents my core business and my recent contract with the European Regional Development Fund has seen me making in- roads to the energy sector which enjoys a major stronghold here in the Northwest. This work has now grown to incorporate projects throughout the UK as well as overseas. PHOTOGRAPHY OF TOURISM IN CUMBRIA AND LANCASHIRE also plays a very important part in my work as this represents a significant sector of the regional economy. This work varies from major tourist attractions, high quality accommodation and cultural events. I regularly work with most of the region’s public and private sector tourist organisations. Although mainly focusing on commissioned projects I also shoot for the leading stock agencies of Corbis and Getty which complements my interests in travel and industry. Although having made a successful career as a photographer I have also travelled widely and my experiences of the wilder corners of the world has without question influenced my work. I regularly contribute to outdoor and photographic magazines as well as coaching in the craft of photography.
