Dr. John Ashworth is a leading Consultant Dermatologist and is registered with the General Medical Council of Great Britain.
Dr Ashworth believes in raising awareness of skin conditions for the public and those in the medical profession - rapid availabillity of a consultant opinion is what he is striving to achieve.
Dr Ashworth has worked as a full time dermatologist since 1982 and gained specialist accreditation in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians in 1989. He has worked throughout the UK in many hospitals in major cities, Glasgow, London, Preston, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester. He has a successful private practise based in Cheshire, UK, where he also works for the National Health Service .
Dr Ashworth is a Member but was later elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicans in London, he is a consultant member of the British Association of Dermatologists and the British Society of Dermatological Surgeons. He won in open competition a prestigious research fellowship awarded by the Medical Research Council. He has gained several awards and prizes throughout his career and has over seventy publications.
