We offer daily consultations with our veterinary surgeons and we are able to offer a wide range of diagnostic and surgical procedures within the practice, preventing the need for clients and patients to travel to referral centres. We only employ Registered/Listed or RCVS enrolled student Veterinary Nurses, meaning you can be sure that your pet is always looked after by a qualified and dedicated member of staff whilst hospitalised in the practice. Our receptionist team are extremely friendly and knowledgable and will be happy to offer you discuss our services and book you an appointment to see one of our veterinary surgeons or veterinary nurses. Prescriptions are available on request at a cost of £12.50. 48 hours notice is required for all repeat prescriptions. A full clinical examination must be carried out at least every 3 months for repeat prescriptions to be issued.

I can care for the following animals...horses & ponies, sheep & lambs, cats & kittens, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, hens, budgies, cockatiels & coldwater fish. I will clean out cages, runs, stables etc. I will also administer medication. I currently also work at an animal shelter & at a boarding cattery & have done so for the past 4 years. This role is part-time so i am available before 9am and from 1pm onwards. I have qualifications in horse care & nutrition plus many years experience looking after the health & well being of countless small animals. Rates negotiable. Standard £4.50 one visit or £7.50 for two visits (approx. half an hour per visit) I will clean out hutches, cages, litter trays, provide fresh water, ensure food is available, play with animals that require it i.e. cats, administer medication. If your pet is taken ill, i will contact a vet of your choice & transport it (small animals only) to the vet for treatment. For a small extra fee i will bring in your post, water your plants & put out/bring in your bin. References are available.
