Broadstairs and St Peter's

Love it or hate it, you still spent the best years of your life so far in (or have visited) the Kentish town known as Broadstairs. All we ask is that you have a profile picture. You'll always love the lively summer's days on the baking sand; swimming in the sea and not caring how murkey it looks; going to Morellis for one of their unique ice-creams; trying to avoid the police when setting fire to bins on the beach or putting petrol on your barbeque to get it started; the pathetic chavs squatting on the station benches or hanging around the Esso; The Windsor cinema; Kingsgate Bay and the arch in the cliff; Broadstairs Folk Week and the beer tent; Dickens Week and the silly costumes; the countless fireworks displays; The Dolphin; Pierrmont Park; Cramptons; SANCHOS!; The Barnaby Rudge and all the other numerous pubs; Penny sweets at Harveys; Drugs on Stone Bay; Dane Court; Upton Junior; Charles Dickens; St. Georges; Callis Grange; Hadden Dene; St. Mildred's; Thanet Wanderers Rugby Club; St. Peters Recreation Ground and underage drinking; Bunking the train to Ramsgate or Margate; Diving off the Pier; Bazaar (remember the marbles?!); Suzannes; Expressions; Bleak House (and the suspicious burning down!); Royal Albion Hotel's beer garden; Ice Cream at Morellis originally being 50p a pot; Broadstairs Tandoori; Marchesi's Restaurant; St. Peters Church; Collecting conkers from Broadstairs Rd; the old Coop Hypermarket before it was turned into Tesco Extra; Asda opening; Westwood Cross; David Copperfield being turned into Harvester, Toby Carvery and now a Travelodge! All unique to Broadstairs, Kent's Favourite Town! NB - Spamming this group with posts/subjects/videos etc that have no relevence to Broadstairs (and/or its two neighbours) will not be tolerated. Spammers will have membership permanently terminated and may be reported to Fb. NBB - Members agree to be messaged very rarely regarding info on Broadstairs/Thanet.
