Obsolete Studios
Obsolete Studios is an artistic endeavor seeking to embrace the spirit of obsolescence by creating a diverse range of visual outputs. Acquired negatives and artefacts are re-interpreted, curated and re-presented in various locations alongside a series of photographic events adopting outdated techniques.
We are particularly interested the process and conventions of the medium – and how this can be used to create new work within a contemporary context. A series of exhibitions and events are planned for summer 2013.
