Before we go any further, we are not and will never claim to be the "Forest Railroad Park" which hailed in Dobwalls, Cornwall and which sadly ceased operation in 2006. We are however a group of like minded people who enjoy the joys of 7 ¼ miniature railways and railroads. Following years of actually talking about have a small business that could take a portable track, carriages and locos to events and venues several friends got together and did something about it. We chose the name “Forest Railroad” for two reasons, firstly and mainly most of the people who wanted to do this lived on the edge of a forest, secondly the name Forest Railway had already been taken! Having said that we have been working together for over 20 years.
