The Lint Mill is located at the end of a long drive off a quiet lane but easily accessible from the A72 and A74. It nestles at the edge of the North Medwyn River and has its own tranquil, private garden. The lovely views extend towards Tinto Hill and across the Pentland Hills. Edinburgh and Glasgow are both only a 45-minute drive and the characterful Borders towns of Peebles and Biggar are within a 30-minute drive. The World Heritage site of New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde are less than 20-minutes drive away.

I have been standing stallions and breeding horses for over 30 years, mostly warmbloods and T.B.s with good success, having bred the Advanced Event Stallion 'Mill Law' ...I also bred his dam and owned his sire the good Irish T.B.Stallion Samiel. I have owned and produced stallions for the H.I.S. Stallion Show at Newmarket for many years with great success, including Samiel, Tacheron,Primo Pageant (sold to Ireland) Caledonian Bay and Accondy (winner of the Croker Cup for best T.B. stallion Royal Dublin Show 2001) and subsequently sold to Ireland. The following year my 4.y.o. mare Westinghouse (by another of my stallions 'Wildgraf' (Hanoverian) won the 4.y.o. class, the middleweight class, best mare and finished Reserve Supreme at Royal Dublin Horse Show. More recently I have gone into breeding American Quarter Horses.. specialising in reiners. AT STUD 2012.
