Equine Involvement therapist Jo Corfiled helps children learn the secret language of horses and ponies while professional writer, Caroline Wright, helps children imagine their very own story.

Cochranes of Oxford manufactures and sells kits and equipment that help students – from primary to university level - learn through hands-on experience and demonstration in science, maths, design and construction. We also make and sell a range of original kites and kite parts for fun and specialist uses such as birdscaring. We hope these pages will provide a forum for users of all our products to share experiences and pictures of our products in action. Our aim is to build an inclusive community of all those using our products to inspire students and make learning fun!

We offer a collection and delivery service, free of charge. Other services include cycle hire, cycle fitting, new and used cycle sales and bike box rental. Our technicians are Cytech accredited, this is the recognised training and accreditation scheme for bicycle mechanics and outdoor pursuits. We are passionate about giving a professional and personal service to our customers all of which we give our full attention to.

Story Sacks are about having fun, enjoying storytime and bringing your favourite books to life! I love story time, and so I have designed and created sacks and collected some brilliant resources so that you can enjoy some quality time together exploring a story in a fun and creative way. Story Sacks are a fantastic way to engage young children with much loved picture books and stories. Each story sack is based around a popular story and contains all sorts of wonderful props, activities and resources to help bring the story to life and get your child excited about reading and story time! What does the Story Sack include? Well, each sack contains a good qualitychildren's book, and usually a combination of soft toys, puppets, related fiction or non-fiction books, sometimes a game and some items to support the story. How do I use the Story Sack? It's entirely up to you how you use the story sack - that's what is so exciting! Usually you can start by sharing the story together, reading to or listening to your child read. Then you can use the resources and props throughout the story. Try some role play, or use the non-fiction books to investigate an element of the story further. Maybe start by looking and discudding the objects in the sack, to see what the story might be about. Ultimately, your child will lead thehe way, so you can be as imaginative and creative as you like! What are the benefits of story sacks?
