Daventry Motorcycle Training Scheme offers Great training at a competitive price for novice and born again bikers to become safe and confident riders, so you will be ready to take your Part 1 test and Part 2 Test.
Here is my own experience of joining the course 3 years ago ;
" After taking a CBT I bought a Honda NSR 125 to teach myself to ride on the roads, After about 2 Months of riding I Realised biking was something I loved doing. After looking at a DAS course I realised It was way out of my price range.
After talking my mechanic who is also a biker, He strongly recommended the Daventry Motorcycle Training Scheme, I turned up one Sunday to the Daventry Community centre and approached the bike club. They discussed what they involve within the training they provide and let me know how much it costs and over how many weeks the course lasts for. I mentioned what bike I had and they had No problem teaching me on my own 125 "Happy days".
The following week I turned up for my first lesson with two other students on the same course. In my opinion the training was fantastic. After I completed the course I took my part 1 and part 2 tests and passed both first time!!!!
I have no doubt that if I did not have the training I would have failed. Before joining the course I thought I was a good rider. However the course had shown me how to be a safe and confident rider, This is why i passed "
I took my test on my NSR 125, when I passed I then sold my 125 and bought a Honda VFR400 with a 33bhp restricted kit fitted, after the VFR I bought a Suzuki bandit 600N, after the 2 years I could ride any sized bike I wanted with no additional training or test needed so now I have a Honda CB750 f2.
Since my test about 3 years ago I still turn up to the bike Club as their a great bunch of people with a great sense of humour, and they are always more than happy to help each other out with any problems and advice regarding bikes.
Weather you own your own Motorcycle or need to use one of theirs for training to take your test you are more than welcome to come along and join the Training scheme course.
